(< | Wind River Pass Peak to Peak Hwy m40. s(u) , Peak to Peak Hwy m15.3 s(u) , Virginia Canyon s(u) , Berthoud Pass >)
Day2: Trail Ridge Road Passes , Wind River Pass :  Grand Lake > Trail Ridge Road Passes > Estes Park > Wind River Pass > Nederland: 99 miles (mech Odo m1:83.8.7)
Notes: This is the first summit on the following three day tour: Day 1: Winter Park > Grand Lake: 43 miles; day2: Grand Lake > Trail Ridge Road Passes > Estes Park > Wind River Pass > Nederland: 99 miles; day 3: Nederland >  Peak to Peak Highway m40.5 s(u) > Peak to Peak Highway m15.3 s(u) > Virginia Canyon s(u) > Berthoud Pass > back to starting point: 77 miles between. Mileage measured by Schwinn-approved pin wheel driven odometer and guaranteed accurate to no less than 15 percent (narrative). This included a short unpaved section. but in order to make it into a completely paved route, all you have to do is subsitute the Central City Parkway City s(u) for Viriginia Canyon s(u). Although in order not to deal with bicycling hostile city of Blackhawk (only gasoline powered vehicles allowed on city streets) you still have to take an unpaved detour.
