same summit points, different route: Arvada apr. jct Wadsworth-I70 > Clear Creek bike path > Golden > up Lookout Mtn Rd > I70 El Rancho - Chief Hosa summit(u) > Floyd Hill summit(u) > Idaho Springs > Echo Lake > out and back on Mount Evans road to Summit Lake (located just after mileage marker 9) > Juniper Pass > Squaw Pass>  Bergen Park > Mount Vernon Canyon > back to starting point: 110 miles with 9900ft of climbing in 8:3 hours (r3:9.9.18)

EXTENDED RIDES:

One Week (Very) Large Group Ride: (<Independence Pass|Nine Mile Gap Summit>): The Juniper/ Squaw Pass combination was once part of the Denver Post's "Ride the Rockies". Between 86 and 05 the tour crossed the passes on the last day of the 88 tour when returning from Idaho Springs to Golden.
